PunCube Mech Wallet Accessories Explained: Money Clip, Bifold, MagSafe, AirTag, and Sentry Card

PunCube offers five accessories for five different carry needs. The Money Clip handles a few folded bills or receipts. Bifold adds card and cash storage with room for coins. MagSafe attaches the wallet to a compatible phone. The AirTag Module holds an Apple AirTag, while Sentry Card provides card-shaped tracking for iOS or Android.

Choose around the problem you need to solve. A list of available accessories does not mean every piece can be installed at the same time. Bifold, MagSafe, and AirTag are screw-fixed modules that create different wallet configurations. The Money Clip uses a separate reusable adhesive, and Sentry Card rides inside the wallet or an appropriate external slot.

We checked PunCube’s current wallet and accessory pages on September 4, 2026. The base aluminum Mech Wallet is 98 by 60 by 8 millimeters and weighs 53 grams before accessories. Its main chamber holds up to six flat cards or five embossed cards. Each add-on changes some part of that carry, so final measurements and capacity should follow the named configuration.

Money Clip for a few bills or receipts

Every current Mech Wallet includes a stainless steel Money Clip. Buying the separate clip makes sense when one needs replacement or when a compatible setup calls for another clip. PunCube describes it as a slim holder for a few bills or receipts.

The clip attaches with nano reusable adhesive. It can be removed and repositioned, and PunCube says rinsing the adhesive with water refreshes its stickiness. This attachment method differs from the screw-fixed 2026 modules.

Money Clip keeps cash outside the RFID-blocking card chamber, so bills do not use one of the six flat-card positions. It suits someone who carries emergency cash or a couple of folded notes. A person who regularly carries more bills or loose change will get more useful organization from Bifold.

The current MagSafe Wallet page lists Money Clip as included. PunCube has also confirmed that the current Horizon configuration can use the MagSafe Module and Money Clip together. That confirmation should not be extended to every drive and module combination without checking the current listing or contacting support.

Bifold Module for cards, cash, coins, and a tap-ready slot

Bifold turns the Mech Wallet into a compact metal and leather configuration. The module uses aluminum alloy and calf leather, with a 180-degree magnetic flip. Its storage can hold cash or coins, and the outside slot gives an ID, access card, or tracker a separate place.

The complete PunCube Bifold Wallet measures 98 by 60 by 12 millimeters and weighs 65 grams when empty. It holds up to nine cards in total. Nine covers the cards across the whole configuration. It does not mean nine extra cards on top of the main chamber.

The main metal chamber continues to block RFID and NFC signals. A transit pass or office badge stored there must be removed before scanning. The Bifold quick-access slot lets that card stay outside the blocked chamber, which can matter even for someone carrying only five cards.

Bifold suits a card count that has grown beyond the base wallet’s six-flat or five-embossed limit. It also makes sense when cash and coins belong in the same wallet. The tradeoff is easy to measure. The empty configuration is 4 millimeters thicker and 12 grams heavier than the standalone aluminum Mech Wallet.

MagSafe Module for phone-attached carry

The MagSafe Module attaches the Mech Wallet to a compatible phone. PunCube’s current complete MagSafe Wallet is listed for iPhone 12 through iPhone 17. An Android phone can use the setup with a MagSafe-compatible case or ring.

The complete configuration measures 98 by 60 by 10 millimeters and weighs 75 grams before cards. It keeps the standard capacity of up to six flat cards or five embossed cards. Those figures belong to the MagSafe Wallet as configured. The 53-gram and 8-millimeter figures belong to the standalone aluminum Mech Wallet.

MagSafe is useful when the phone and wallet should travel as one item. Detaching the wallet also lets it return to normal front-pocket carry. Someone who prefers to keep phone and wallet separate gains little from this module and can stay with the base setup.

Phone attachment deserves its own check. Case thickness, added rings, and the device model can affect how the setup connects. Use a compatible case or ring when the phone does not provide native MagSafe attachment, and test the hold with the actual case before treating the phone and wallet as one carry.

AirTag Module for an Apple AirTag and cash storage

The AirTag Module adds a dedicated AirTag slot to the back of the Mech Wallet. Its magnetic 180-degree flip also holds cash or coins. PunCube secures the module with screws and includes the required screws and screwdriver with the complete AirTag Wallet.

The AirTag itself is not included. Buyers need to supply and set up their own Apple AirTag. This option suits someone who already uses Apple’s tracking ecosystem and wants the tracker held in a dedicated physical recess.

AirTag Module changes the shape of the wallet more visibly than Sentry Card because an AirTag is a separate round device. The dedicated recess keeps that shape in a defined place and leaves the main card chamber for cards.

Sentry Card for a flatter iOS or Android tracker

Sentry Card takes the card-shaped route. The current product measures 85 by 53 by 1.6 millimeters and weighs 14 grams. PunCube lists compatibility with iOS and Android, Qi wireless charging, up to eight months of standby time per charge, and IPX8 water resistance.

Its shape makes Sentry Card easier to place in a card stack, passport holder, or Bifold quick-access slot. It still uses physical space. At 1.6 millimeters, it must be counted by its actual thickness. Do not assume it consumes exactly one normal card position. Load the stack and keep the card fan moving freely.

Sentry Card uses Bluetooth. PunCube says the Mech Wallet’s RFID and NFC blocking does not block that connection. The Bifold FAQ adds an important qualification. Placing Sentry Card inside the metal chamber may reduce its effective signal range. An external Bifold slot can keep the tracker outside the metal enclosure.

Sentry Card suits households that use both iOS and Android or anyone who wants a rechargeable, card-shaped tracker. AirTag Module suits an Apple AirTag owner who prefers a dedicated holder and also wants cash or coin storage.

How the accessory mounting system works

PunCube’s current Mech Wallet FAQ says the 2026 accessories use screws, with Money Clip as the exception. Bifold and AirTag product information also describes their modules as replaceable screw-fixed pieces. A screwdriver and screws come with the relevant accessory orders.

That design makes Bifold, MagSafe, and AirTag alternative builds around the same wallet. Remove one screw-fixed module before changing to another unless the current product page gives specific instructions for the combination. Do not improvise a stacked installation with tape or substitute hardware, since the published dimensions and retention claims would no longer describe that setup.

Money Clip follows a different path because its adhesive can be repositioned. Its placement should still follow current product photos and support guidance.

Sentry Card needs no screws. It can ride as a card or sit in a compatible external slot. Its placement affects both remaining card space and Bluetooth range, so location matters as much as installation.

Choose the setup from the item you refuse to leave behind

A small cash carry points to the included Money Clip. Seven to nine cards or regular use of bills and coins points toward Bifold. A phone-attached carry gives MagSafe a clear job.

Tracking requires one more choice. AirTag Module makes sense when an Apple AirTag is already part of the plan. Sentry Card offers a flatter rechargeable design and works with iOS or Android. Carrying both trackers usually adds cost and bulk without solving a second problem.

Can every PunCube accessory be used at the same time?

Does Sentry Card reduce card capacity?

Can an access card be scanned inside the Mech Wallet?
